ABOUT

Great Biz Awards originally started out in late 2012 as Awarding Women In Business, where we  started tweeting using the hash tag #womaninbiz via @AwardingWomen.

Due to the loss of our dear sister and friend, Awarding Women In Business was taken over by the lovely Sheila who continues to do a wonderful job for all you women out there, and we wish her great success in her new venture x

​

After considerable thought it was decided that we would continue on the journey that we had started out on, but under the  new name of Great Biz Awards. 

​

The only difference is we are now dedicated  not only to promoting women in business but all businesses (that includes you guys too) throughout the UK for their success and outstanding support in the community.



It is still our aim to bring these businesses together, not only through our website  & Twitter @GreatBizAwards using the hash tag #GreatBizAwards, it is still our dream to host live events, where finalists from those nominated from the #GreatBizAwards will be able to nominate themselves for our Best Great Biz of The Year. 

 

After losing a my brother to Cancer, I have choosen to help raise Cancer Awareness and by helping raise money for Charites and Causes.  Please see our Charity Page for Charities Close to my heart.
